The prices for most of the items have gone down as the majority of people became unable to do shopping as they used to a year ago when no one was aware that a huge crisis might come. Common people irregardless of their income level have already experienced this hysteria when they can’t just drop in at a store, take a shopping cart and drive through the lines taking the items you need without looking at the prices. This affects the level of production and distribution as well and only advertising specialties can help the producers to become visible again and to regain their share of the market. Marketing is called up again to save the economy and the trade balance within the country and abroad.

Definitely if we divide all the items into several groups we might find out that essential commodities occupy the first place where the prices have changed not so drastically. At the same time plazma TVs, hi-end systems, computers and vehicles have somehow become the items of luxurious array and even custom USB drives have increased in their price. The same situation can be observed at the wholesale market. One would say that this is because all these items are complex electronic devices and when the companies got rid of their competitors they have become so-called monopolists and they started selling these things with at least a minimal income whereas earlier they had to sell their items at a lower price and suffered huge losses. But no one can understand why promotional calendars have become so expensive at the retail market.
