The Automobile industry mainly revolves around the manufacturing and selling of cars. But at this point of time, the automobile industry has taken a new dimension and the new dimension is towards the market arena which is focused on selling and buying used cars. The demand for these cars has been increasing day by and with the current economic recession in progress people are more conscious on spending and in fact they are interested to trace how each and every penny of their money is disappearing now.

Buying a good used car is not so difficult either and people can easily afford to buy one for them. There are many places in the internet where people can find such cars for them and available car is the best in the lot. Do believe me, these cars fetch the retailers more profit than brand new cars and in such a case why wouldn’t this business flourish beyond scales. If you can satisfy yourself with a second hand car, you will be able to save a lot of money with which you can make an investment. So save money, invest them on properties which provide high returns and sit back and feel proud of yourself for taking the best decision of your life. Might be someone else can learn from you as well!

I’ve been in private practice for almost 10 years, now. I am living my dream; I do what I love to do, the hours I work are the hours I choose to work, and I can often take time off to play with my family or enjoy a friend, if I wish.

But, as most self-employed people, I’m a hard boss, and as a female small business owner, I have much more to do than just ‘work’. As I type this, I am also making lasagna so my husband has something he enjoys eating while I’m out of town for the next few days, working. I also need to fold the laundry that is in the dryer so I can take care of some last minute clothes I want to pack for my trip. Tomorrow I will get up a little earlier than necessary so I can get a quick workout in, then be sure I have my suitcase packed and in the car before I see my first client in the morning, because when I’m out of school, I will leave directly for the airport for my trip. During the trip, if I have all my studying for classes done, I can then start working on my articles and newsletter that will be due soon. I should have all my charting done for my clients before I leave tomorrow, too.

If you are in business for yourself, this probably sounds pretty familiar. If you are just starting out, yes, it sounds scary, and there definitely are days that you will wonder what the heck you are doing, but I am still here to tell you it’s all worth it.

Businesses owned by women are the fastest growing segment of small business owners in the country. Between 1997 and 2004, the estimated growth rate in the number of women-owned businesses was nearly twice that of all businesses. According to the Small Business Association, there are currently 9.1 million women-owned businesses, which employ 27.5 million people and contribute $3.6 trillion to the economy. If you are female and have considered starting up your own business, the time couldn’t be better!

Women are diversifying into all industries, too. Construction, manufacturing and transportation have been the largest recent increases in women-owned firms, although services and retail still make the largest share. Women are more prepared today for running business. The amount of managerial experience, education, business revenue and employment profiles these women have after 10 years of experience equals what took 20 years in the past. Women in business now equal men in these respects.

With New Year fast approaching, wouldn’t it be great to start the new year with a clear conscious by getting all those unfinished work tasks/projects completed?

I’m talking about those tasks/projects that play on our mind, weighing us down and preventing us from feeling like we are on top of things. They are almost always thought of in a negative frame of mind and make us feel like we are failing.

Let’s get started and make it a reality!

Think about (or actually stand in) the room that you do your most work in, whether it be at your office, in a home office or a space in the home where you spend the most time working. Picture it in your mind or if you are there, look around and get a really good feel for exactly what your office contains. Pay close attention to the following:

• The ambiance – is it too dark, musty, unventilated?
• The layout of furniture
• Miscellaneous items and their placement
• The many piles of paper all over the desk
• The contents of drawers and cupboards

Now ask yourself the following questions:

• Do you like this room?
• How do you feel being in this room? Choose a word that describes your feeling.
• Does your office function well?
• What changes would you make if you could make them?
• What unfinished projects are here, pulling at you?
• Do you know where everything is? Can you find the things you need?
• Is this room clean?
• Is this room decorated in an inspiring way? If not, what simple changes would help?
• Are you able to get work done efficiently in this room?
• Could the furniture be moved to be more functional and appealing?

If your work space is tidy, functional and clean… fantastic! If you love being in this room, even better! You are fortunate and should be able to get stuck into those unfinished projects right away.
