According to Wikipedia, accident is defined as specific, unidentifiable, unexpected, unusual and unintended external actions which occurs in a particular time and place. It can happen to anyone and for an unknown reason, no matter how being careful people are, accident makes itself known to everyone. Most of time, people tend to think that when they are in their work, they might or could be safe. But contrary to this, most of the accidents occur in their comfortable little offices giving the employers accountability. We have to face the harsh reality that once or even twice in our life,  we are  bound to meet the aweful joker known as accident.

Accident at work is one of the most common phenomena that employees have to endure and employers are held liable for this due to the fact that they should have made sure that the workplace is safe for everyone. In this day and age when people are protected by laws about almost everything, it is only proper that they should be given what is right for them. Employees who had been involved in accidents should not be hesitant or even afraid to claim what they deserve. Bear in mind that a due process will be gone through and enough evidence will make them eligible for all the things they could get for having that accident.

These accidents are being investigated and preventive measures are prepared so it will not happen again. Aside from being costly, life of the employees is what is at stake in this and once it has been taken, no amount of money or mourning or blaming can bring ones life back. If animals’ welfare is given importance, so do people’s. So its only proper to say that accident at work should be given enough consideration. It is unavoidable and inevitable and nobody would wish or choose to be in such situation so enough consideration is in order.
